2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS EV

Mercedes' EQS luxury EV will start its fourth year off with a mild styling refresh and something even better — more range. The previous model's 108.4-kWh battery pack gets swapped for a 118.0 kWh unit that will beat the previous EQS' 350 miles, although Mercedes hasn't released figures. The range increase is also due to updated regenerative braking software, with Mercedes' claiming an 11 percent increase in the more forgiving European WLTP test. At the front, the sea of tri stars has been replaced with more traditional slats, and a hood ornament replacing the grille-mounted emblem. Tweaks to the interior are focused on the rear-seat passengers, with chrome accents on the B-pillar climate controls and contrast stitching and Nappa leather piping on the pillows. The Pinnacle trim and Executive Interior package feature rear seats that recline up to 38 degrees and front seats that fold forward for more legroom. The updated EQS will arrive in dealers later in 2025.
