2025 Kia Tasman Pickup Truck

Kia is entering an entirely new market with the Tasman, the first truck from the Korean automaker. Available in single and double-cab configurations, Kia didn't shy away from making the Tasman as utilitarian-looking as possible. The boxy design has elements like cladding over the wheel arches and an exposed brake light treatment that emphasize the truck's tough aesthetic. The Tasman's bed is 60 inches long with a payload of 2,634 pounds and a max towing capacity of 7,716 pounds. Power comes from either a 277-horsepower, 2.5-liter gas or 207-horsepower, 2.2-liter diesel engine with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The gas engine comes with an automatic only. The Tasman will launch in 2025 in Korea, with Australia, Africa, and the Middle East following. No plans were announced for the North American market.
