2025 Maserati GT2 Stradale
Maserati unveiled its latest super car at the 2024 Monterey Car Week — the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal version of the MC20-based GT2 race car. The GT2 Stradale uses the same Nettuno twin-turbo V6 as the MC20, turned up to 631 horsepower in this application, with a claimed 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 200 MPH. The GT2 Stradale starts on the same production line as the MC20, before engineers take the carbon fiber chassis away for its transformation. Weight is reduced by 132 pounds and a massive aero overhaul is performed — a massive adjustable rear carbon fiber spoiler and redesigned diffuser help reduce drag and increase downforce. Inside the cockpit are a knobs for the volume and drive mode, a button for reverse, and a button for drive. Everything else is manipulated from the screen to keep the focus on driving. Two options are available: The Performance Package with semi-slick Michelin tires, an electronic LSD, carbon ceramic brakes, and recalibrated electronic aids. The Performance Pack Plus adds four-point harnesses and a fire extinguisher to the Performance Package.
