2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X

When Chevrolet moved to a mid-engine platform for the Corvette, it was obvious they were planning to build a model to rival the best Europe has to offer. The 2026 ZR1X is that car. It combines an LT7 twin-turbo V8 producing 1,064 horsepower, driving the rear wheels, with an 186 horsepower front-axle electric motor, giving it all-wheel-drive performance up to 160 mph (when the front motor disconnects) and a 0-60 time under two seconds. Massive 16.5" carbon ceramic brakes, two chassis options — including a firmer ZTK Performance Package option — and the available high-downforce Carbon Aero package round out the offering, which aims to combine the comfort of a tourer with the capability of a track car. Pricing and availability details will be released closer to the start of production.
