2026 Ducati Panigale V4 R
The Panigale V4 R is Ducati's purest race-to-road translation yet, a homologation special born from decades of MotoGP and World Superbike dominance. Carrying forward the lineage that began with the 996 R in 2001, it's designed less as a superbike and more as a road-legal extension of Ducati's factory effort. At its heart sits the 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine—delivering 208 hp at 13,250 rpm in U.S. trim, and up to 235 hp with the Akrapovič racing exhaust—paired with a MotoGP-inspired Racing Gearbox that drops neutral below first for quicker, safer downshifts under braking. Aerodynamic sidepods, Ducati's Neutral Lock system, and a torque curve honed from decades on the grid make the V4 R about as close as you'll get to riding a factory race bike on the streets.
