First thing's first: the Ford Bronco New Energy isn't coming to America. At least for now. This Chinese-market release blends elements of the full-size Bronco and Bronco Sport, retaining the model's iconic looks while deploying either an all-electric or hybrid powertrain under the boxy bodywork. The pure EV version offers 403 miles of range from a 105 kWh battery, while the hybrid model will have 136 miles of all-electric range and a total range of 800 miles. Lidar and over 30 sensors enable advanced driver assistance features, chunky tires suggest that it might offer all-wheel drive, and while there are no current plans to release it stateside, one can only think that it offers a glimpse into the Bronco's all-electric future.
