2027 Corvette Grand Sport
In the early 1960s, Chevrolet built exactly five C2 Grand Sports for racing. Now, sixty-plus years later, the 2027 model arrives with enough firepower to justify bringing the name back. At the core is the next-generation LS6, a naturally aspirated 6.7L V8 that produces more torque than any other naturally aspirated V8 ever built, delivering 535 hp and 520 lb-ft through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission to the rear wheels. The Grand Sport X takes it further, pairing the LS6 with a front-axle electric motor for 721 combined hp and an electric-only Stealth mode up to 50 mph. Heritage details are handled with care: Admiral Blue Metallic is revived from the C4 era, and the signature hash marks move to the rear fenders for the first time, a nod to the engine sitting behind the cockpit.
