2027 Nissan Fairlady Z Nismo Coupe
The Nissan Z-line dates back to 1969. Over 50 years later, it's now on its seventh generation, and that model is getting some new tricks for 2027. The front end gets an aerodynamic overhaul with a two-piece design that, in conjunction with the removal of the rear spoiler, decreases front lift and drag. Power comes from a retuned 3.0L twin-turbo V6 making 420hp in Nismo spec; it can now be mated to a manual transmission, in a new model called the Nismo MT. Stopping power comes from new GT-R-derived brakes, while new monotube shock absorbers promise drivers and occupants a more comfortable ride. The 2027 Nissan Z launches in Japan this summer, with a stateside release expected later this year.
