Air Jordan XXXVII Basketball Shoe
Jumping is an essential part of basketball. For the 37th edition of the iconic Air Jordan line, Nike's designers made jumping the focus. A carbon fiber midfoot shank helps transfer energy to the forefoot, where an additional Zoom Air unit joins the full-length Zoom strobel for added "pop" off the floor. Formula 23 foam encased in a TPU mold provides a crash pad in the heel, absorbing energy on the return to the court. At the same time, a zoned Lenoweave upper created using strong, pliable Arkema yarn offers lightweight support. The upper pattern and tooling draw inspiration from the Air Jordan VII and West African basketweaving. Arriving in September in a Beyond Borders colorway; other variants are expected to come afterward.
