Airstream Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian Travel Trailer
The first aluminum-clad Airstream Clipper debuted in 1936, around the same time that Frank Lloyd Wright's best-known masterpiece, Fallingwater, was being built. A collaboration between the two never happened, a shame Airstream is rectifying with the Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian travel trailer. Designed in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, it echoes signature FLW design details with built-in storage, convertible furniture, piano-hinged accordion doors, and Gordon Leaf Pattern accents. Functionally, it offers a front dinette that converts to lounge, work space, or extra bed, a kitchen and bath with on-demand hot water, 300W of rooftop solar panels, and 2.5kWh of lithium battery capacity for off-grid adventures, a JL Audio x Klipsch sound system, LED lighting, and a first-ever rear hatch that opens into the dual-purpose primary bedroom. Limited to 200 examples.
