Colombian designer Rodrigo Torres uses the small water-bound animal as inspiration for a playful approach to an office essential. The Alessi Kastor Pencil Sharpener is made from chrome-plated zamak using a refined metal-working process. Shaped like a beaver, a pencil is inserted into it's mouth, where it's chiseled down to a fine point as if it were a log.
