Amazon Echo Show 10
The "Pixar lamp" iMac was arguably the best desktop design Apple & Jony Ive ever produced. Modeled on a sunflower, it could pivot and move to meet the user's needs. Amazon's new Echo Show 10 doesn't have the same degree of mobility but somehow feels like a spiritual successor. Its camera and microphones track the user as they move through space, rotating and tuning the audio so they can always hear and see the content being displayed. In addition to the powerful audio coming from the circular base and HD visuals from the screen, it also includes Amazon's new AZ1 chip so almost every command is processed on-device, speeding up response times while limiting the amount of audio sent back to Bezos' secret villain HQ.
