Founded by Elon Musk, Neuralink is on a mission to allow humans to interface directly with AI in hopes of keeping the nascent technology from destroying humanity. Really. Recently demonstrated inside a pig, its latest implant has 1,024 thin electrodes that penetrate the outer layer of the brain and a Bluetooth connection to an outboard computing device. While the eventual aspirations remain a long way off, in the short term the company hopes to help people with brain and spinal cord injuries or congenital defects regain lost function.

A Reactive AI 2.0 Obstacle Recognition uses a 3D structured light and an RGB camera to identify and avoid obstacles in its path, and a PreciSense LiDAR navigation system scans rooms to create a map and determine the most efficient route. With built-in voice assistance, users can start cleaning with a simple command, and when the job is done, the vacuum will retreat to its dock to automatically empty, wash, dry, and recharge itself.
