Apple macOS Ventura

Apple's latest yearly macOS release, Ventura, is full of the typical improvements — and a couple of surprises. A new multitasking-focused Stage Manager feature that automatically keeps the currently-active app in focus, with other open apps shown off to the side. Mail gets undo send, scheduled send, and reminders, Safari gets Shared Tab Groups and support for Passkeys that are aimed to replace passwords for a more secure web experience, and Metal 3 offers improved graphics for gamers. Perhaps most impressive is the Continuity Camera, which uses an iPhone's camera as a Mac's webcam, complete with Center Stage automatic subject following, portrait mode background blurring, studio lighting, and a crazy Desk View feature that creates a top-down view of the user's desk using an iPhone's ultra-wide camera. Ventura will be available this fall.
