Apple watchOS 8
There's a limit to what can be improved on the Apple Watch without a hardware upgrade, but that hasn't stopped Apple from making incremental progress with watchOS 8. It has a new Mindfulness app with a reflection feature, an improved Sleep app that can measure respiratory rate, and new Tai Chi and Pilates workouts in the Fitness app, where Fitness+ gets new artists spotlight workouts. A new Portraits watch face pulls Portrait Mode photos from the redesigned on-watch Photos app, and several other apps like Messages and Home have been updated, giving even older models a fresh experience when it drops this fall.
