1969 Baldwin Motion Phase III GT Corvette
In the mid-60s, the Baldwin Chevrolet dealership and Motion Performance, a Chevrolet tuner, combined forces to offer customized cars. In 1971, the federal government shut them down in a crackdown on car safety. This 1969 Corvette is a factory 427-engined car with the Phase III package, guaranteed to deliver quarter miles times in the 11-second range. But the most impressive part of the modifications might be the bodywork, with exposed headlights, Shelby-style scoops, and taillights from the Pontiac Firebird.
