2006 Lotus Elise

2006 Lotus Elise

We all want an exotic car — a car that just screams, “You’ve never seen a car like this and you’ll never see it again if you’re not coming home with me tonight.” Normally, cars such as this require a ton of dough — but not anymore. The 2006 Lotus Elise (starts around $43,000) brings exotic car cred to your garage without completely breaking the bank, and has numbers like 0-60 in 4.9 seconds to back-up the “My car is cooler than yours” looks.

  • Subaru Impreza WRX STi

If you've ever tore up the turns of a deserted gravel road imagining you were racing in the mountains of Argentina, then this this car was made for you. The Subaru Impreza WRX STi (starting at $32,450) is the closest thing you can buy to a World Rally Championship race car. It packs a turbocharged 300-hp engine (the normal WRX has 227-hp), high-tech all-wheel drive with advanced sport-tuned suspension, a massive Brembo brake kit, lightweight BBS wheels, racing-style front seats, and a killer hood scoop and rear wing. This thing is bold and mean, and will kick the crap out of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and then the authentic pink STI badge will spit on it.

  • Ferrari FXX

They don't get any badder than this, my friends. Yes, it costs $1.8 million and there'll only be 20 made, but this thing has 800 hp and is the new definition of what a real "supercar" should look like. The FXX is the fastest Ferrari ever to go into production, boasting a 6,262 cc V12 and an aerodynamics package that provides 40 percent more downforce than the pricey Enzo (the car the FXX is built upon). The handful of cars will be offered to the "most dedicated and passionate clients," selected by an in-house committee, according to Autoweek. And if you're lucky enough to buy one of these unholy red devils, you'll have the option of storing it at the Ferrari factory, and will be given "participation in a series of track events organized by Ferrari on various international circuits over the next two years."
