2018 BMW M5
BMW launched the M5 sedan in 1984, and suddenly, speed and handling weren't just for cars with two doors anymore. BMW has taken the gloves off for the latest M5, pushing the sedan into the realm of supercar-like performance. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 making 592 bhp and 553 ft-lb of torque, the M5 makes naught-to-60 in 3.2 seconds. Active suspension, an eight-speed automatic or manual paddle shift transmission, and for the first time, all-wheel-drive get all of that power to the pavement. Add a typically luxurious interior and four doors, and the justification for cramped two-seat supercars gets harder to make.
