Pagani Huayra BC

The Huayra was already a speedy beast of a machine. The Pagani Huayra BC is just speedier. With the BC, the company has managed to massage 789 hp from the twin-turbo 6.0L V12 engine, and paired it with a brand-new seven-speed automatic that cuts shift times in half while also weighing less. Indeed, lighter weight was also a goal for the car, as it's nearly 300 lbs. lighter than the "standard" model, thanks to upgrades like a new titanium exhaust system, lighter Brembo brakes, custom forged wheels, and a revised, more aerodynamic body made from an all-new composite material that's 50 percent lighter yet 20 percent stronger than carbon fiber.

  • 2017 DeLorean

We've covered the process of procuring a vintage DeLorean in detail — going so far as to make it the cover of Issue 01, in fact — but the 2017 DeLorean is something different. Not that different, mind you, since it's still going to be built with a mix of original and newly manufactured reproduction parts. The big difference is that it's going to be an all-new car. Thanks to an obscure House bill, the DeLorean Motor Company will be able to start building and selling new rides as of next year. And while most of the parts will be the same, the new vehicles have to meet current Clean Air Act standards, which means a new, far more powerful engine, bigger wheels, bigger brakes, and updated shocks. So while it might look the same on the outside, the 2017 model should be far more enjoyable to drive. Heavy.

  • 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster

Continuing a legacy that dates back to the race-winning 718's of the '50s and '60s, the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster earns its title by adopting flat four-cylinder engines, just like its namesake. The standard model has a 2.0L powerplant making 300hp, good for a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 170, while the S variant relies on a 350hp turbocharged 2.5L unit to move from 0-60 in 4 seconds flat on its way to 177 mph. The engines aren't all that's new — the suspension has been retuned, the brakes improved, and every body panel inside and out replaced, save for the luggage lid, windshield, and convertible top. Other options include the Sport Chrono Package from the 911, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and LED headlights.
