Rimac Concept One

The Rimac Concept One is a special vehicle, and not just because it's among the rare concepts that become production cars. It's special because it's being dubbed the first all-electric hypercar. Thanks to a quartet of permanent magnet electric motors, one for each wheel, it has a total output of 1088 hp, good for a 0-62 time of 2.6 seconds and the ability to reach 186 mph in just 14.2 seconds. Handling is helped along by the central location of the motors, allowing for perfect weight distribution and a low center of gravity, while the carbon-ceramic braking system helps slow things down when necessary and the luxurious interior keeps you comfortable as the scenery flies by.

  • Ferrari GTC4Lusso

    It's no where near as practical as a typical 4x4, but as far as Maranello's lineup goes, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso is fairly impressive. As the company's first Grand Tourer to combine rear-wheel steering with four-wheel drive, it can handle conditions that would relegate most to the garage, massaging the V12 engine's 680 hp to ensure all that power reaches the road in a controlled manner. Its name draws on classic Prancing Horse entries like the 330 GTC and 250 GT, while the 4 alludes to the car's four seats, which let you and three friends enjoy the 3.4 second 0-62 accelleration and 208 mph top speed.

  • 2017 DeLorean

    We've covered the process of procuring a vintage DeLorean in detail — going so far as to make it the cover of Issue 01, in fact — but the 2017 DeLorean is something different. Not that different, mind you, since it's still going to be built with a mix of original and newly manufactured reproduction parts. The big difference is that it's going to be an all-new car. Thanks to an obscure House bill, the DeLorean Motor Company will be able to start building and selling new rides as of next year. And while most of the parts will be the same, the new vehicles have to meet current Clean Air Act standards, which means a new, far more powerful engine, bigger wheels, bigger brakes, and updated shocks. So while it might look the same on the outside, the 2017 model should be far more enjoyable to drive. Heavy.
