Tempus Machina 711Z Rolex GMT Master Watch

Like a classic car with modern innards, the Tempus Machina 711Z Rolex GMT Master Watch combines the looks of the 1950's "Bakelite" Rolex 6542 GMT watch with the reliable features of the current model 116710 GMT-Master II. Inspired by the brittle, signature 24-hour bezel insert of the mid-century watch, this new interpretation uses a polished sapphire insert with hand-applied luminescent numerals and indicators. But Tempus didn't stop there. The bezel was re-profiled with a "Coin Edge" teeth look, the crown guards were removed, and a black-and-red "Roulette" style date wheel was added. On top of that, the 18k gold-plated dial is as close as you'll ever get to an original "Gilt" dial, and the GMT hand — the heart of the dual time zone functionality — has been replaced with a custom small arrow hand to match the original.

  • Omega Seamaster Commander's Watch

Omega has a relationship with James Bond that dates back over 20 years. To celebrate the character's rank, as well as the 50th anniversary of You Only Live Twice, the 40th anniversary of The Spy Who Loved Me, and the 20th anniversary of Tomorrow Never Dies — all films in which Bond wears his official military uniform — comes the release of the Omega Seamaster Commander's Watch. It pays tribute to the Royal Navy's ensign colors with a white ceramic dial, blue skeleton hour and minute hands, and a red second hand with 007 logo counterweight. The bezel is blue with a red area denoting the final 15 seconds, and the see-through case back reveals a rotor with the Commander rank insignia. It arrives on a 5-stripe blue, red, and gray NATO strap, with a metal bracelet also included; it's limited to just 7,007 examples in stainless steel and seven in 18K yellow gold.
