Tesla Semi Truck

It won't be officially unveiled until later this year, but we finally have our first look at — and details of — the Tesla Semi Truck. Company founder and big-thinker Elon Musk claims it will have more torque than any diesel semi, with the highest weight capacity and long range. Musk also claims you can drive it around like a sports car, thanks to its flat power curve and instant torque availability. Autonomous features are a lock and keeping them a secret is likely the reason why the first image is so dark. Expect more details about the rig to come out in September.

  • 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

Mixing off-road ability with pavement-chewing power, the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one of the quickest SUVs in the world. It's powered by the same 6.2L, 707 hp supercharged V8 as its Hellcat cousins, but thanks to the all-wheel-drive system, it's a little faster. That means 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph, helped along by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Styling changes are primarily functional, with an additional slit in the front fascia and an intake in place of the driver's side foglight to help route more air to the engine. Brembo brakes ensure you can get slowed down in a hurry, and the driver-focused cockpit and Bilstein shocks provide a comfortable ride at speed.

  • Infiniti QX80 Monograph

Adorned with a mix of organic and geometric shapes that give it a look simultaneously elegant and aggressive, the Infiniti QX80 Monograph is a look at the future of the full-size SUV design. The brand's signature double-arch grille remains intact here, only taller and wider than on the current model, and the D-pillar has also been reshaped, while the other pillars are hidden in service of creating a visor-like look for the windows and windshield.
