The Silo Hotel
Housed in a historic grain silo that was the tallest building in Sub-Saharan Africa when it opened, The Silo Hotel is a unique mix of the old and new. Its 28 rooms, including a one bedroom penthouse, are spread across six floors above the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Also within the hotel are a bar, two eateries, a full-service spa, and a rooftop pool. The rooms themselves use an eclectic mix of furnishings to offset the structure's industrial remains and have multi-faceted windows that bulge outwards from the building, offering outstanding views of Table Mountain, Lion's Head, and the V&A Waterfront.
