Arturia Memory V Software Synthesizer
The Memorymoog was the last polyphonic synthesizer Moog Music built before going bankrupt, and the reason it's still talked about is the same reason Dr. Fink brought one on the Purple Rain tour: nothing else sounded like it. Six voices, each with three oscillators and its own dedicated ladder filter, earning it the nickname "six Minimoogs in one." Arturia's Memory V is a software emulation built on component-accurate modeling of the original's circuits, extended with tools the hardware never had. A Vintage control dials in continuous analog drift across pitch, filter, and envelope, so it behaves like an original rather than a cleaned-up copy. Beyond that: drag-and-drop modulation, a four-layer arpeggiator, and an expanded 12-voice mode that doubles the original's ceiling. It ships with 300-plus presets.
