Atlis XT Electric Pickup Truck
With Tesla promising a truck along with their semi and startup Rivian nearing production with their truck and SUV, electric trucks are poised to enter the mainstream. Atlis Automotive is previewing their XT full-size truck built on their XP platform. While still in the concept stage, the Atlis is aiming for some eye-popping figures for the truck from several option packages. Towing capacity varies from 5,000 to 20,000 pounds, with up to 35,000 pounds available with a fifth wheel gooseneck trailer — all square in full-size ICE range. Range is between 300 and 500 miles depending on the model, with a 0-60 time of five seconds and a top speed of 120 MPH. The XT is packed with the latest tech as well. The concept does away with wing mirrors in favor of a multiple camera system that covers blindspots and autonomous driving capability. Atlis hopes to have the XT on the street by 2020 with a starting price of $45,000. The future of electric trucks looks very bright.
