Audi GT50 Concept

Audi's legendary 5-cylinder engine turns 50 years old in 2026. To mark the occasion, 14 apprentices from the Audi Neckarsulm site turned an Audi RS 3 Sportback into the GT50 concept car. The styling is distinctly modern yet still calls out to the past, with sharp lines, a bold rear wing and front spoiler, and "X" head and tail lamps. Under the hood lies the 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder engine, while the interior was stripped out and rebuilt, the body crafted from glass fiber reinforced plastic to keep weight down, and the top borrowed from an Audi 80. The car was revealed at a company meeting in Neckarsulm, in front of nearly 3,200 employees, to enthusiastic applause.
