The principals of Belgian interior designer and antique dealer Axel Vervoordt have led him to compile a client list that includes Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Robert De Niro, Bill Gates, Sting, and Calvin Klein. In Living with Light, Vervoordt shares his use of natural elements to construct exceptional living spaces. The book includes 20 homes, ranging from a Picasso-owned villa in Provence to a 19th-century distillery, each featuring natural light as a major design element, along with water, metal, and wood. The spaces also showcase the designer's signature balance of modern elements, fine art, and antique pieces, while photographs by Laziz Hamani expertly capture Vervoordt's design philosophies.
