Baltasar Revolt R Concept EV
Spanish automotive startup Baltasar revealed its Revolt electric sports car in 2021. While it readies for production to start in 2026, it's revealed a track-only sibling: the Revolt R. Handcrafted from carbon fiber with an FIA-compliant chromoly steel safety cage, it has an aggressive aero package that includes a custom front end, splitter, side skirts, and a large active rear wing with a DRS system. Its racing suspension has double wishbones and pushrods made from carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aerospace-grade aluminum, joining with the FIA-homologated carbon racing seat, removable Formula-style steering wheel, and single-nut magnesium wheels to keep the curb weight under 1,800 pounds. Powertrain details have yet to be revealed, but the road car's twin-motor rear-wheel drive system delivers 500 hp, so the Revolt R should offer that much power or more, with a high-performance battery that can recharge to 80% in just five minutes on a fast DC charger. No launch date has yet been announced.
