Defined by its polished aluminum shell that reflects whatever surrounds it, the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Edge appears to have stripped the speaker down to nothing but the driver itself. That's not accurate, of course — inside the shell is a 10-inch woofer, two four-inch midrange drivers, and two 0.75-inch tweeters that output sound on both sides. It offers Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, and Chromecast compatibility, has sensors inside that let you control the volume simply by tilting it, and an active bass port that opens at high volume to increase low-end performance. As with many B&O products, it's as notable for its design as for its sound.
