Behring Estate

The former residence of developer and Seahawks owner Ken Behring is now for sale. Dubbed the Behring Estate, the massive property spans over 26,000 square feet on 4.5 acres in California's Blackhawk Country Club. The home was built in the 1980s and was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. It's surrounded by gardens made up of koi ponds and landscaping designed by George Lucas' landscape architect, Kimio Kimura. Inside, a palette of Brazilian teak, Idaho quartz, and Utah flagstone continues the zen-like atmosphere. Living spaces include seven bedrooms, including a primary suite with retractable ceiling, ten bathrooms, a 7,000 square foot ballroom, bar, and a 10,000-bottle wine cellar with tasting room. Interior spaces expand outside to a plaster pool, spa, and tennis court pavilion.
