Blacksmith Garage Toyota FJ45 Beach Cruiser
Toyota never made a four-door soft-top Land Cruiser with three-row seating, giving Blacksmith Garage the inspiration for their latest build. Starting with a 1984 FJ45 pickup, over 80% of the truck is new, including the body and Cummins R2.8 turbodiesel crate motor. Behind the Cummins is a GM 4L65E automatic transmission, with everything sitting on the original frame that's been stripped, sandblasted, and epoxy primered. The original Toyota axles and transfer case were rebuilt and a full stainless steel exhaust was added. An aluminum Aqualu tub and fenders were combined with a new-old stock FJ 40/45 steel hood to complete the bodywork. The suspension was rebuilt with Old Man Emu components with new disc brakes at all four corners. This FJ45 Beach Cruiser is available for sale now.
