Blancpain X Swatch Fifty Fathoms Ocean of Storms Watch

Blancpain's first collection of Fifty Fathoms Swatch watches was inspired by the Earth's oceans. For the latest edition, they looked to our celestial partner, the Moon. The Fifty Fathoms Ocean of Storms has a 42.3mm black Bioceramic case with a matching crown and bezel, the latter a one-way rotating piece with an anti-scratch, biosourced glass insert. The dial is given a black sunbrushed finish with a date indicator at 4:30 and Grade A Super-LumiNova fill on the hour markers, hour and minute hands, and bezel scale. It's powered by a SISTEM51 mechanical movement visible through the sapphire caseback, which bears an illustration of the Ocean of Storms and the Okenia Luna sea slug. Finished with a striped NATO strap made from recycled fishing nets, it's water resistant to 50 fathoms — or 300 feet — and arrives at select Swatch stores worldwide on January 11th.
