BMW Designworks x The North Face Camper Concept

Inspired by the BMW Gina concept car and built to highlight The North Face's latest fabric innovation, this lightweight camper concept would be a great adventure companion. Like the Gina, it's crafted from fabric stretched over a rigid frame — in this case, a geodesic dome. Yet the fabric itself is the star. Dubbed Futurelight, it's made using a Nanospinning process, creating microscopic holes that allow air to flow through while keeping the exterior entirely waterproof. While the camper is just a concept, the fabric will make its debut in The North Face Fall 2019 product line.
