Bob Ross Public Broadcasting Auction
Bob Ross' The Joy of Painting was a staple of public broadcast channels PBS and CBC for over a decade. His calm, friendly demeanor and happy little trees entertained while also informing generations of future artists. With many of these stations now facing budget cuts or outright closure, Bob Ross Inc. is auctioning off dozens of his paintings, created on-air, with all proceeds going to support stations that run content from American Public Television, ensuring that his legacy will continue on for years to come. The first are set to be sold as part of Bonham's California and Western Art sale on November 11.
