Bovensiepen Zagato Coupe

The name Bovensiepen might not ring a bell, but the company the family founded, Alpina, is well-known to auto enthusiasts. With Alpina now part of BMW, the family is creating a new brand using their own name, with the Zagato Coupe their first offering. Based on the BMW M4, it's clad in carbon fiber bodywork penned by Zagato, with vertical and horizontal rear lines above a large rear diffuser, side air vents to help airflow, and, of course, Zagato's signature double bubble roof. It's powered by a 3.0L in-line six-cylinder creating 611 hp, good for a 0-62 time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph. The Damptronic dampers from Bilstein have been turned for a grand tourer feel, with three drive modes, forged 20" wheels, and a titanium exhaust adding to the sporty feel. Each example takes over 250 working hours to build from over 400 precision parts, many of which can be personalized to make each one a unique statement.
