Started in 2012 by Louisville-based graphic designer Tyler Deeb, Misc. Goods Co. began with a meticulous redesign of a Jack of Spades. The passion project turned into a complete deck of cards featuring a fresh new set of original illustrations. From there, the company began putting their modern spin on other classics creating an entire collection of unique American-made items.
A bourbon as special as our Russell's Reserve Single Barrel needed an equally standout vessel. We were already fans of Misc. Goods Co.'s timeless designs, and their location in the heart of bourbon country in Louisville, Kentucky, made the decision to collaborate even easier. The MGCO x Uncrate Decanter is the result. Made with quarter-inch slip-cast ceramic and finished with a black glaze, the seven-fifty decanter is embossed with a prohibition-medicinal design with foil-accented lettering, and topped off with a hefty cork stopper. Ideal for filling with our bourbon, its handsome looks will provide an upgrade for your bar cart or mantle long after you've savored the last drop.
Made in the USA, these MGCO playing cards will add a dash of style to your next poker night. The cards have been completely redesigned with uniquely drawn illustrations from the tuck case to every symbol, court card, and typography — and are made from playing card stock with the highest grade bee coated paper.
As seen in Uncrate Issue 04.
While most flasks are covert vessels, this offering from Misc. Goods Co. is worth showing off. The flask sports embossed icons and lettering, a vegetable-tanned leather strap around the neck as well as an oil-tanned strap with brass stud and a brass button that holds the cork stopper in place. It's made in the U.S.A. using a quarter-inch ceramic slip cast, holds up to 11 ounces and is perfect for sipping, sharing, or topping off a drink that needs a little something extra. Available in black or ivory.
