BST HyperTek Electric Motorcycle
Blackstone Tek started in 2002 and makes some of the best carbon fiber wheels in the world. In a huge announcement, BST has revealed its first in-house motorcycle, the HyperTek. The all-electric bike is designed by Piere Terblanche, responsible for multiple Ducati models and the (formerly) Confederate Hellcat. Naturally, the HyperTek has a carbon fiber monocoque frame with a billet aluminum rear subframe and single-sided swingarm. You won't find any instrumentation in the HyperTek — the bike comes with a helmet that uses a HUD to display information to the rider, a future-tech approach that keeps your eyes on the road. A DHX Hawk motor makes 107 horsepower and 88 ft-lb of torque and is good for 186 miles of range and can recharge in just 30 minutes with the DC fast charger. The HyperTek will be made in limited numbers, but packs a huge amount of features that should get major manufactures paying attention.
