Inspired by an age-old method for roasting oysters over a wood fire comes the Oryo Oyster Cooker from Bulls Bay. The tradition in South Carolina calls for the oysters to be steamed under a wet burlap sack while a wood fire burns beneath, giving the oysters an unforgettable smoky taste. The cooker has three pieces, the cooking table, the fire box, and the cooking pan. All three are made of steel that is able to not only contain the flames but also withstand high temperatures. It's also portable and the cooking pan keeps the oysters' salty flavor intact draining away excess water.
