Cartier Tank à Guichets Watch

Launched in 1928, the original Cartier Tank à Guichets was a bold timepiece for the time, with a digital time display surrounded by expanses of metal. Nearly 100 years later, it's getting a revival along with a new limited-edition version. The standard model is available in yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum, with the hour aperture at 12 o'clock and trailing minutes at 6 o'clock. The new version is limited to 200 pieces in platinum and has a driver-style layout, with the jumping hours at 10 o'clock and hour at 4 o'clock, both rotated 90º for readability while driving. All four models are powered by a new hand-wound 9755 MC movement, feature a crown at 12 o'clock, measure 37.6 x 24.8 mm and just 6mm thick, and sit on alligator straps.
