Cary Grant's Reimagined Beverly Hills Estate
Cary Grant bought his Beverly Hills home in 1946. He was renovating it when he met his fifth wife, Barbara Jaynes, in the 1970s. She inherited it after Grant's death in 1986 and followed through with his thought to tear it down and build this 15,700-square-foot home instead. Boasting six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, it has high ceilings and glass walls, many of which open to take in the views Grant always wanted. Also inside are rift-sawn white oak flooring, a chef's kitchen, a gym, and an acoustically engineered Dolby Atmos theater. Outside are more than 7,200 square feet of terraces, as well as a 52-foot pool, private tennis courts, and multiple areas for lounging and dining.
