Charge Electric Ford Mustang

Forget trying to get 350 miles of range or fast charge times — UK-based EV startup Charge is all about performance on the street, not the fuel economy test loop. Charge is taking 499 first-generation Ford Mustangs and turning them into quad-electric motor powered monsters with enough tech to make Tesla blush, with a 64-kilowatt-hour battery pack and 200 miles of range — if you're cruising. The range figure will drop if you decide to send all 536 horsepower and 5,532 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels via the massive centrally-mounted touchscreen. The screen allows access to a myriad of parameters, including a rear-wheel-drive only. Top speed is limited to 149 MPH, but it won't take you long to get there, as 0-60 happens in just over three seconds. Charge will be debuting its Mustang at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
