Cinch Outdoors x Wild Land Wingman Truck Tent
Cinch Outdoors x Wild Land built the Wingman to skip camping gear's usual categories entirely. It isn't a rooftop tent, a slide-in camper, or a trailer, but a pair of electric scissor lifts turns it into something like all three. Built onto a pickup's bed rails without changing the dimensions, the whole system collapses to a box just 25 inches tall when stowed, sitting nearly flush with the cab for the drive out. Once parked, the lifts raise two separate floors: a ground level that keeps the bed's storage clear while adding built-in MOLLE panels and a bamboo utility table, and a second-story bedroom that sleeps three people with a high-density foam mattress, thermal flooring, and a sky roof for 360-degree views. Bluetooth 5.0 speakers and magnetic LED bars are controlled from a remote or phone app. The Wingman fits into more than 80 percent of pickups on the road, including the Ford F-150, Toyota Tacoma, and Jeep Gladiator, turning any one of them into a two-story basecamp.
