MetMo Eddy
In 1855, French physicist Léon Foucault discovered that moving a conductor through a magnetic field could generate circulating electrical currents within the metal, creating a force that resists its motion. Nearly two centuries later, MetMo harnesses that electromagnetic force into a palm sized gadget, the Eddy. Built around pure copper and a powerful magnet, the precision-engineered object turns electromagnetic induction into something you can see, feel, and repeat. Send the magnet into motion and invisible eddy currents fight back, slowing its movement in a strangely mesmerizing demonstration of physics at work.
