Nike evolves its everyday road runner with the Pegasus 42. It pairs a curved, full-length Air Zoom unit with a ReactX foam midsole that's 13% more responsive than previous React technology delivering an energized ride from heel strike to toe-off. A softer, more breathable mesh upper keeps each stride comfortable, while the updated silhouette adds more toe spring and extra room through the forefoot and toe box. Underneath, a lighter Waffle outsole combined high-abrasion rubber and flex grooves for traction and flexibility.
