Originally released in 1995, the Air Max 95 translated anatomy into footwear, with a midsole inspired by the spine, layered upper panels representing muscle fibers, and laces mimicking the ribs. The Air Max 95 Big Bubble Premium carries that unconventional design into the present with a mix of textile and synthetic leather reinforcing its signature wavy profile. Underfoot, oversized Max Air cushioning pairs with a foam midsole for lightweight comfort, while flex grooves encourage natural movement and a rubber outsole adds everyday durability. Thirty years after turning human anatomy into a running shoe, the Air Max 95 still looks unlike anything else on the pavement.
