Last year, Cohiba got a lot of attention when they released the Spectre 2018. The limited smoke set pricing records for the brand and came with some unique packaging. The 2019 edition shares a lot with the original, including the use of vintage and sherry-barrel-aged tobacco leaf. But the 2019 adds some new packaging and a new 6 x 49 size. Each one is handcrafted by the same two individuals and is comprised of a five-year-old ultra-dark Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper and fillers that include tobaccos aged for 4 to 16 years with Brazilian Mata fina and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa that were aged in Spanish sherry barrels.
