Coleman's new Convoy series of coolers gives great performance and rugged durability in a body that's half the weight of heavier, pricier rotomolded coolers. The Convoy 55 (short for 55-quart capacity) uses Coleman's Templock FX insulation in the lid and body to keep beverages cold and holding ice for days, on par with the ice retention limits of rotomolded designs. Heavy-duty rubber latches, similar to those found on high end fishing boats, and stainless steel hinges mean the Convoy will last. An anti-microbial lining, another feature typically not found at this price point, helps prevent mold and odors. This 55-quart size can hold up to 39 cans with 30 lbs. of ice.
