Combekk De Librije Dutch Oven
Developed with Jonnie Boer — the best chef in the Netherlands and named for his restaurant, which is located in an old prison — this dutch oven is made from 100% recycled iron from old prison bars and doors. The Dutch invented the cast iron manufacturing technique, and Combekk is the only brand that continues to cast in the Netherlands. This dutch oven is made using enameled cast iron that retains and creates consistent heat, with no hot spots, making it an ideal option for braising or cooking long-simmering soups, stews, or chili. Limited to 500 pieces, each De Librije dutch oven is finished with a bronze knob that is individually numbered.
