Constellation 167 House
Eric Owen Moss founded his eponymous architecture firm in 1973. In the 50 years since, he's become known for his unorthodox, experimental commercial buildings, most notably in and around Culver City, California. Constellation 167 is his first residence and continues his disdain for traditional forms. Concrete, stone, metal, and wood combine to make a truly unique interior space, which measures over 5,400 square feet and covers multiple levels, with a main living area that stretches to the domed roof. Built in 1991, the home was restored and reconstructed by the current owners, who also added a Moss-designed lagoon to the 0.27-acre Brentwood property.
