Converse x Ambush Sneakers
After a deep dive into the vast Converse archives, Yoon Anh of AMBUSH surfaced with a couple of gems. The result is two pairs of sport styles reconceived for modern times, both with exaggerated styling and monochrome tones. A rubber military boot produced by Converse in the 1950s was the inspiration for the Pro Leather, which features a rubberized black upper, a tonal 3D Converse Star Chevron logo, a gusseted tongue, and cyber yellow instructional Ambush branding on the elevated heel. The Chuck 70 draws from the iconic basketball silhouette, adding a heightened platform midsole, a white rubberized upper with matte detailing, and a gusseted tongue for stability and insulation. Both are available starting this month.
